This book of remembrance was commissioned by the Royal Army Medical Corps to commemorate those killed in action since 1945. The pages are vellum with decorative borders and gilt illuminations. The binding is of dark red Chieftain goatskin leather with 23-caratgold decoration. The book is on permanent display in Westminster Abbey, London
